A. 1745 House Update -Jerry's son is available to work on the windows. He needs to inspect the windows to see if we can just install replacement windows or have to reframe.
-Jerry will renew contact with John Beam to see if he is interested in assisting with roofing job. Beam was not interested in the job at the last discussion, but it is worth another try.
B, Web Site www.historicrockland.com Update -3227 hits thus far.
-Due to space issues, Jerry will remove photos and make them available upon request. There was some discussion over the unauthorized use of
the photos, as some have appeared elsewhere presumably after being copied from our site. Jerry will check with Steve regarding the use of watercolor base in order to trace the travel of the photos.
-Peter will follow up with Rockland Trust to see if there is any interest in hosting the site. The initial letter was sent 3/7/03, but there has been no response.
- We continue to receive fairly constant email traffic, some with inquiries as to town/family/house histories. Jerry will continue to forward these to Peter who win respond as best as possible.
C. RHC Sign (Hingham and Webster St) -Bill Wallace is working on the 2 sided mahogany sign (approx. cost $2300, being covered by K of C).
-Mass Sign has expressed interest in putting 2 half barrels on the island flowers.
- Rockland Garden will be ready to plant annuals as soon as the weather cooperates.
-Agreement that there will be a need to publicize the sign and get some publicity for those groups who have
contributed to this project.
D. Arcadia Publishing Project -Don Cann has a deadline of 5128 for the project. He
currently has approximately 200 photos: We are not sure right now how many of the RHC photos will be used. Peter reviewed a large group of photos with Don, and Don selected approx. 30 photos to make his
initial cut.
-Production of the book should be scheduled in time for the holiday season: RHC will discuss at a later date the use
of book sales as a fundraiser (through discounted bulk purchase).

F . Alms House Future -Peter met with Dr . Compton and Rena Shea {North River) on March 7 to discuss the renovation of the A1ms House (windows, siding, heat, etc) in advance of the North River Collaborative signing a long term lease with the Rockland School Dept.
-Peter will report back to Rena if there are any restrictions on renovation to the structure, since it is on the National Register.
